MacroSolve’s ReForm XT™ Mobile Software Used By Doctors To Improve Patient Access and Care
100+ doctors at multiple hospitals across Canada use ReForm XT
TULSA, Okla., February 12, 2009 – MacroSolve, Inc., (OTCBB:MCVE), parent company of Anyware Mobile Solutions, announced today that Anyware’s ReForm XT™ mobile software, which has been implemented by the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) has helped the group in collecting and monitoring real time patient data leading to physician education, improvement in patient access and management, and enhanced resource utilization and delivery of service.
The CAG, which became a customer of Anyware Mobile Solutions after conducting a brief pilot project in the spring of 2007, is soon to complete its first full-scale pilot with ReForm XT. The CAG is using Reform XT to help collect data at the point of care for quality assessment and improvement programs for gastroenterology practices. With the help of ReForm XT, Association members are able to easily and quickly collect and review their practice data, compare their data with other physicians, and thereby learn and adjust their practice to improve the delivery of care.
“We are always pleased to see our products and services benefit clients in a quantifiable way. While it’s certainly rewarding to see improvements in healthcare brought through mobile technology, we are also excited about the prospects of delivering more solutions to this multi-billion dollar market. As the new administration in Washington advocates all medical records be digitized in five years, we see growing demand for our services in the medical sector,” stated MacroSolve President and CEO, Clint Parr.
The CAG will publish three scientific abstracts at their annual scientific meeting (Canadian Digestive Diseases Week – CDDW) – February 28 – March 2, 2009. The scientific abstracts analyze and highlight the value of data collected through the use of ReForm XT. The abstract titles are listed below:
- Quality Indicators for Colonoscopy in Canada: The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) Endoscopy Quality Initiative (EQI) Practice Audit Project
- Endoscopy Unit Quality Indicators for Colonoscopy: The Canadian Association Of Gastroenterology (CAG) Endoscopy Quality Initiative (EQI) Pilot Project
- Prolonged Wait Times for Colonoscopy In Canada: The Canadian Association Of Gastroenterology (CAG) Endoscopy Quality Initiative (EQI) Pilot Project
